Soak a washcloth in full strength liquid softener. Wring out excess, then lay out to dry first before using. Toss in the dryer and use again and again until it no longer works. Re-soak when needed (you should be able to do a few dozen loads per soak).
Steam away a microwave mess. Fill a small bowl with equal parts hot water and vinegar, and place it in the microwave on high for 5 minutes. As the steam fills the microwave, it loosens the mess, wipe out with a paper towel.
A corner cut from an envelope and pierced at the point makes a good funnel for filling salt and pepper shakers.
